CITY OF PROSPECT HEIGHTS

Follow the happenings in our city - check the Calendar of Events and get the meeting dates for the City Council, commissions, and committees.  Read the minutes of past City Council meetings, learn about permit requirements and get tips on crime prevention.  Visit the City of Prospect Heights web site HERE.     City Hall The newly re-built City Hall, at 8 N Elmhurst Road, is now open. Open: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:30 am - 4:30 pm  Closed: Tuesdays & Thursdays   Police Department Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. If you have an emergency - always dial 911. The Police Department has an emergency phone in the lobby that is directly connected to North West Central Dispatch if you are in need of an officer's assistance. Senior Citizen Information Discount Taxicab Program The Discount Taxicab Program is designed to provide senior citizens and disabled residents living within the corporate limits of the City of Prospect Heights with affordable, convenient transportation.The program is based on the meter fare for all rides. Residents may travel to any location outside of Prospect Heights (excluding O'Hare Airport) as well as within town. The City will pay fifty percent (50%) of the meter fare, up to $3.00 and the participant will pay the remainder. RIVER TRAILS PARK DISTRICT

The Social/Rec committee has worked with the River Trails Park district to have the Bus stop at the Clubhouse for their Trips. Please see the newsletter for a list of the current activities. Sign-up will still be at the Park District.   For more information on River Trails Park District Programs, go HERE   Blue Chip Casino Wednesday,  01-28-2009 9:00AM - 5:00PM  Fee $20.00 Description: Enjoy a little gaming action at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN.  Includes transportation, lunch & the opportunity to earn $10 in E-play for those that play at least 1500 points worth.

This spirited and talented trio on accordion, trumpet and baritone horn entertain us with a variety of traditional German waltzes, polkas, marches, and folk songs. Vocals in English and German.
